LET’S make one thing very clear. One from five at bats in the minors is not going to get you a call-up and turn you into a legend overnight, but Tebow is still progressing. His two run homer through his teams 14-7 W not only boosted his confidence after a sluggish spring training showing (Tebow batted .148 in spring striking out eight times), but it shows that this ‘baseball fling’ is a serious thing. The 2007 Heisman Trophy winner had a forgettable NFL career, but if he can gain momentum a call up to the majors isn’t too farfetched.
