THE time has come to eliminate another aspiring Wooden Award winner. The final seven candidates for the Wooden Award have had another week to impress and now one must go. This week saw Kansas emerge as one of the best teams in the league and Caleb Swanigan continues to impress. So who is this weeks weakest link?
SAFE FOR ANOTHER WEEK
Josh Hart (Villanova) – The early voters favourite was underwhelming this week. But Nova still stay ranked 2nd overall.
Caleb Swanigan (Purdue) – Shooting up the list with a dominant performance against Indiana and a solid showing in the loss @Michigan.

Lonzo Ball (UCLA) – Helped lead UCLA past Arizona in a blockbuster win, followed by an efficient performance over the Fultz-less Huskies.
Frank Mason (Kansas) – Stood out on an emotional senior night W over Oklahoma.
Malik Monk (Kentucky) – Combined for 60 points in a pair of wins over Florida and Vanderbilt. Beast mode.
ON THE CHOPPING BLOCK
Johnathan Motley (Baylor) – Great personal performances in Baylor’s 1-1 week.
Nigel Williams-Goss (Gonzaga) – Gonzaga finally lost, but at no fault of Williams-Goss. His consistency can’t be knocked but his competition is inferior.

YOU ARE THE WEAKEST LINK…
POOR Johnathan Motley. Baylor’s record and his inconstancies have led to his delisting this week. He is by no means a bad college player, but he isn’t good enough to finish above 7th on our list. As showcased in game against Iowa State, Motley dropped 27 points and 11 rebounds and the Bears STILL couldn’t get a W. Better luck next year.
