I’M not complaining that I keep going at about a 65% clip on my predictions, but I’d love a massive week right now. The NBA Playoffs are underway making for some awesome basketball and of course, baseball helps to fill out the rest of the Sunday Picks. 8-0 here we go.

#7 Milwaukee Bucks at #2 Boston Celtics
TUNE in to this series for the Giannis Antetopkounmpo box scores and very little else. I think President Brad Stevens can avoid a boilover in Game 1, but I’m not so optimistic for the rest of the series.
Verdict: Celtics W
#5 Indiana Pacers at #4 Cleveland Cavaliers
LeBron James’ record in the first round is 48-7. Make that 49-7.
Verdict: Cavaliers W
#5 Utah Jazz at #4 Oklahoma City Thunder
I am SOOOOO excited to watch OKC in the playoffs. This series is the pick of the bunch and nothing would surprise me from Westbrook averaging a triple-double and shooting 38%, to Donovan Mitchell erupting for 40 all while Rudy Gobert posts 20 and 20. Don’t miss this one. Thunder.
Verdict: Thunder W

#8 Minnesota Timberwolves at #1 Houston Rockets
FOR months I have been saying that the big minutes Thibs is playing his starters is going to hurt them. In the playoffs, bench rotations are usually shorter, so this plays into Minnesota’s hands. Oh wait, they’re playing Houston? Scrap that, the T-Wolves are screwed.
Verdict: Rockets W
Toronto Blues (9-5) at Cleveland Indians (8-6)
THE Blue Jays are off to a solid start and their series with the Indians has been interrupted by a heap of rain. If and when they play their rescheduled fixture I have faith they can keep up their winning ways with Sanchez (1-1, 3.66 ERA) on the mound.
Verdict: Blue Jays W
Milwaukee Brewers (8-7) at New York Mets (11-2)
I thought the New York Mets could make a little bit of noise so far, but the start they are off to is much better than anyone expected. They should stay hot with Thor (2-0, 3.94 ERA) scheduled to start against the Brewers.
Verdict: Mets W
Arizona Diamondbacks (11-3) at Los Angeles Dodgers (4-9)
WHILE the Mets’ hot start is surprising, so are the Dodgers recent struggles. Clayton Kershaw (0-2, 1.89 ERA) will be looking at LA’s for support against Zona and surely they get up. Right?
Verdict: Diamondbacks W
Texas Rangers (5-11) at Houston Astros (10-5)
BARTOLO Colon (0-0, 1.64 ERA) vs. Justin Verlander (2-0, 1.45). You’re welcome.
Verdict: Astros W
