- WE LEARNED…SEAN MILLER COULD BE DONE IN ARIZONA
NO statement has been released regarding the future of Arizona men’s basketball coach Sean Miller, but it doesn’t look pretty. Miller didn’t coach in the Wildcats’ last game after ESPN reported the FBI has a recording of Miller discussing a $100K payment to guarantee DeAndre Ayton signed with the school. It would be a sad end to what has been a memorable coaching career for Miller who has a 362–119 record with Arizona after being there since ’09.
- WE LEARNED…SHAREEF O’NEAL HAS A NEW HOME TOO
AFTER the Wildcats scandal Shareef O’Neal, the son of NBA legend Shaquille, announced to the world that he was de-committing from Arizona. Last night, he told the world that he would be signing with UCLA and for the second time turning down the chance to play for his father’s alma mater, LSU.

- WE LEARNED…SPRING TRAINING IS UNDERWAY
FROM Rusell Wilson crushing bombs with the Yankees to Shohei Ohtani’s debut with the bat and ball, the first part of Spring Training is in the books. With March nearly upon us position battles will start to heat up as the month progresses.
- WE LEARNED…LEBRON JAMES KEEPS ON SETTING RECORDS
SEASON 15 continues to be a fruitful one for LBJ as he added to his resume with some more incredible records. With a 31/12/11 stat line against the Nets last night LeBron James locked down a triple-double average (27.0 points, 10.5 rebounds and 10.5 assists) for the month of February. He also became the first player in history with 30,000 points, 8,000 rebounds and 8,000 assists on his resume. All hail ‘The King’.
- WE LEARNED…MARCUS PETERS IS NOW A RAM
THE former Chief is on his way to the NFC after Kansas City and Los Angeles agreed to a trade over the weekend. Adding the playmaking Peters to an improving Rams defense could be a move that helps put them over the edge in 2018 and turns them into a true contender.
- WE LEARNED…JARVIS LANDRY AND EZEKIEL ANSAH ARE NOW TAGGED
THE dollars are already flowing for this year’s NFL free agents after the Miami and Detroit threw tags out to eligible players. Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry ($16.2mil) and Lions edge rusher Ezekiel ‘Ziggy’ Ansah ($17.5mil) are now both due to make serious dough next season and I’m sure more players will now follow in the coming weeks.
- WE LEARNED…ANTHONY DAVIS ISN’T HUMAN
WHEN DeMarcus Cousins went down a lot of us, myself included, thought that the Pelicans would go down in flames and crash out of the playoff race. Anthony Davis has other ideas. In the last six games (all Pelican wins) Davis has averaged 41.5 points, 15.0 rebounds, 3.2 blocks and 3.0 steals. Beast. Mode. Activated.
