NBA All-Star weekend has halted the usual big portion of games that influence my weekly picks. Team LeBron vs. Team Steph and a handful of college games will have to get us through.

#8 Ohio State Buckeyes (22-6) at #22 Michigan Wolverines (21-7)
AFTER a night to forget against Penn State on Thursday, the Buckeyes head to Ann Arbor with conference title stakes on the line. It pains me to say this, but my Ohio State squad may have just been overachieving for a long stretch and now they are coming back down to Earth.
Verdict: Wolverines W
#12 Duke Blue Devils (21-5) at #11 Clemson Tigers (20-5)
WITH Marvin Bagley’s status up in the air it’s tough to lock in a winner. Even though they have had patches where they look like ‘true freshman’, Duke is the better team and they get my vote.
Verdict: Blue Devils W

#19 Wichita State Shockers (20-5) at #5 Cincinnati Bearcats (23-3)
23-3 looks great on paper, but I’m not all aboard the Cincinnati train just yet. They have dropped both games against ranked opponents, which has me leaning towards Wichita State in this one.
Verdict: Shockers W
Penn State Nittany Lions (19-9) at #6 Purdue Boilermakers (23-5)
A big win over Ohio State probably has Nittany Lions fans dreaming of another upset. It ain’t happening on Sunday.
Verdict: Boilermakers W

NBA All-Star Game
Team LeBron vs. Team Steph
A flurry of injuries to LeBron’s squad has his team looking very top heavy all of a sudden. Let’s be honest though picking a winner in the ASG is like flipping a coin. Unless Curry gets hot and goes bananas (very likely) I think a team LeBron guy will catch fire and help steer them to victory.
Verdict: LeBron W
