IT wouldn’t be the festive season without some NBA! The Xmas games didn’t fail to disappoint with close finishes, big stat lines and massive no calls in the Clash of the Titans at Oracle. With the T-Wolves and Thunder getting massive wins to keep their stock trending upwards and Enes Kanter becoming Wilt Chamberlain at MSG for a night, the 25th had it all.
PUT your hands up if you know a player who wants to line up for the Browns? As if Cleveland couldn’t get kicked more while they’re down, one of the best quarterbacks in the draft, UCLA’s Josh Rosen, would consider going back to college for his senior season if the Browns were to take him first overall. If the Giants who would likely pick inside the top three as well, were to take him, however, he’d be more than happy to head to New York. Ouch.
AFTER Week 16 of NFL action there are now just three playoff spots left for grabs with two in the AFC and one in the NFC. Seattle and Atlanta are the only two left in the race for the NFC, while the AFC race is a little more complicated. With division winners locked in, the Titans, Bills, Chargers and Ravens are fighting it out for two wildcard berths, with plenty of fireworks expected in the regular season finale. make sure you tune in.
BASEBALL’S most sought after prospect is on his way after farewelling his former Japanese team. A packed crowd at the Sapporo Dome said goodbye to the new Los Angeles Angels phenom as he prepares for life in LA. Rumour has it there is an even bigger crowd waiting for him when he lands with Angels fans salivating at the prospect of him and Mike Trout on the same team.
AFTER 22 dimes to close out last week, Trae Young is still blowing college scouts minds while balling out for Oklahoma. The nations leading scorer (28.7 points per game) and assist man (10.4 assists per game) dropped 31 and 12 on the previously hyped Northwestern squad as his stock continues to soar. Watch out world.
I’M sorry Todd Gurley. You would think after the Rams star was on my fantasy team I would know that he has been absolutely killing it, but I left him off my Wentz-less MVP list. Again I apologise. The leader in rushing yards in the NFL is revitalising LA right before our eyes. Gurley leads all running backs in receiving yards with 788 and six scores, more than recognised wideouts Stefon Diggs and Alshon Jeffery. He has more TD’s than anyone else in the league and last week helped Los Angeles punch a playoff ticket. Again for the third time, I am sorry.

Peace ✌️
